Entertainment News: How the pandemic affected show running

All the television and film shooting and production in the United States were halted on 19 March 2020. The Corona pandemic has been the most impactful event to U.S. television production since 2008.

For example, some shows got canceled even if they had good ratings, such as the Netflix show called “The Society.”  Another example is not giving us the last episode and giving us a cliffhanger; the network the CW delayed “The Flash” and left us on a major cliffhanger.

Also, some networks were dependent on their remaining inventory of completed programs that had not yet aired (resulting in some completed programs being delayed to air as contingencies in place of others).
